hinduism mirrors christianity in that they both believe in the 3-in-1 god
christians consider god as being composed of father/son/holyspirit, in hinduism it's bramha/vishnu/shiva
bramha is the creator, vishnu is the preserver, shiva is the destroyer
we are currently in the age of shiva, something must be destroyed in order to build something new
shiva is depicted in hindu temples in many forms, his cobras for example are a metaphor for awareness and consciousness, his dance is a metaphor for the creation of the universe
